In Desperate Times,,,why does God say no?
In these trying economic times, many of us will turn to our faith,,,which begs the question, why does God say no?
Here are some clues,,,
1. I asked God to take away my bad habits. God said “No. It is not for Me to take away, it is for you to give up.”
2. I asked God to grant me patience. God said, “No. Patience is a by-product of tribulations; it isn’t granted, it is learned.”
3. I asked God to spare me pain. God said, “No. Suffering draws you apart from worldly cares and brings you closer to Me.”
4. I asked God to give me happiness. God said, “No. I give you blessings; happiness is up to you.”
5. I asked God to help me love my family and my children as much as He loves me. God said, “Finally you have the idea.”
